UZIO Time Off Enhancements — February 2026

Employee Level Work Schedules

UZIO now supports employee-level work schedules, allowing businesses to accurately calculate PTO and holiday pay for employees who do not follow a standard 5-day, 8-hour work week — such as those on a 4×10 or custom schedule.

Improved Time Off Balance Adjustments & Pay Stub Accuracy

When making manual time off adjustments or uploading opening balances — such as during a mid-year implementation — these entries can now be classified as either true accruals or balance-only corrections.

UZIO now clearly distinguishes between true accruals and balance adjustments, giving admins full control over how each adjustment is reflected in accrual totals and on employee pay stubs.

New Option When Making Manual Adjustments

When creating a manual time off adjustment, a new Include in Accrual Balance option is now available:

• Yes — the adjustment is treated as accrued time, included in accrued balances, and displayed as accrued time on pay stubs.
• No — the adjustment is treated as a balance-only correction, excluded from accrual calculations and pay stubs.

This flexibility is particularly useful for clients going live with UZIO mid-year, where opening balances need to be uploaded without inflating accrual totals.

Improved Transparency in Time Off History

Adjustments marked as included in accrual are clearly labeled in Time Off History, with a visual indicator confirming the classification.
