Purpose
How you get your first UZIO login, what to do when registration will not complete, and why you only ever need one account.
Where your registration link comes from
Your employer creates your record in UZIO and sends you a registration link by email. There is no public sign-up page and no way to create a UZIO account yourself.
The link goes to the email address UZIO holds for you, which is normally your work email. That address also becomes your username. If your employer has no work email for you yet, UZIO uses the personal address on your record.
The email has not arrived. Check your spam or junk folder first. Then ask your HR or payroll team to resend it, which they can do from your employee record in seconds. Ask them at the same time to confirm which address they are sending to.
Register
- Open the registration link in the email.
- Check the Username field. It is pre-filled with your email address and must stay unique across all of UZIO.
- Create a password that satisfies the policy shown on screen.
- Accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and complete registration.
- Log in with your new username and password.
Note: One account covers everything. The same username and password open the employee portal, the UZIO mobile app and, if you are ever given manager or administrator duties, the employer portal. If you already have a UZIO account with this company or a linked one, the registration link takes you straight to the login page. Never register twice.
If registration will not complete

You can register before your start date. Until your hire date arrives, UZIO holds your record as a future hire.
After you are in
- Turn on 2-Step Verification. It is required on UZIO accounts, with Amazon DSP platform accounts currently excepted. Go to the profile menu, then Account Information > 2-Step Verification. See Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication.
- Enter your direct deposit details so your first paycheck reaches the right account.
- Check your tax withholding and your personal details.
On the mobile app
You cannot register a UZIO account from the mobile app. Register in a browser first, then sign in to the app with the same username and password. If your company requires 2-Step Verification and you have not set it up, the app will not open your pay or time screens until you have. See Using the UZIO Mobile App.
Signing in later
Use Need help logging in? on the login page for both a forgotten password and a forgotten username. See Resetting a Forgotten Password or Recovering Your Username, which covers the employee portal as well.
Your employer cannot reset your password. They can look up your username for you.
