Purpose

Short answers to the questions employees ask most, each linked to the full article.

Account and login

How do I register? Your employer sends you an email with a registration link. It sets up your username, which is the email address UZIO holds for you, and your password. See Registering Your UZIO Account. There is no public sign-up page.

Registration will not complete. Why? The three common reasons are that your employee record is terminated, that you are still a candidate who has not been invited to onboard, or that the email address already belongs to another UZIO login. Each message and what to do about it is in Registering Your UZIO Account.

I forgot my password or username. Use Need help logging in? on the login page. A password reset goes to your registered email. Username lookup works from your name, date of birth, and SSN or Employee ID. Your employer cannot reset your password, although they can look up your username. Full steps for both, including what to do when the lookup will not match you, are in Resetting a Forgotten Password or Recovering Your Username, which covers the employee portal as well. The kiosk PIN is separate; see Using the Time Kiosk.

How do I change my username or password? Profile menu, top right, then Account Information > Login Accounts > Change Username / Change Password. After a username change you log in with the new address and the same password. Do this in the web portal.

Why can't I log in? Try a password reset first, following Resetting a Forgotten Password or Recovering Your Username. "Username has not been registered" usually means you registered under a different email address. If you still cannot get in, ask your HR team to confirm which address your record holds. They can look your username up and change it, but nobody at your company or at UZIO can set your password for you.

The mobile app

What can I do in the app? Clock in and out, timesheets, time off, your schedule and shift trades, pay stubs and W-2s, direct deposit, tax withholding, and manager approvals. Benefits enrolment, expenses, documents, onboarding and registration are web only. The full list is in Using the UZIO Mobile App.

The app will not open my pay or time screens. Most companies require 2-Step Verification. Until you have set it up, the app blocks those screens. Set it up in the web portal under Account Information > 2-Step Verification, then sign in to the app again. If the app instead asks you to update, install the newer version first.

My information

How do I update my personal info? Under My Info you can update your contact details, which are personal email, phone and home address, and your emergency contacts. Changes apply immediately. The app can change the same four things. Anything else, including your name, Social Security number, job details and work email, goes through your employer. See Updating Your Personal Information.

Where do I upload documents?

My Info > Documents, or the My Documents Quick Link on your home page. Upload your own files there and view the ones you have already completed. Documents are web only. See Viewing and Uploading Your Documents.

Pay

Where are my pay stubs and W-2?

Payroll > Pay Stubs and Payroll > W-2 Forms, and both are in the app. Stubs appear on the pay date. See Viewing Your Pay Stubs and W-2s.

How do I change my direct deposit or tax withholding? Both are self-service under Payroll, and both are also in the mobile app where your employer allows employees to manage them. See direct deposit and W-4 withholding.

I paid for something at work. When do I get the money back? Approved expenses are reimbursed through payroll, as a single non-taxable Reimbursements line on your next pay stub. See Submitting and Tracking Your Expenses.

Benefits

Where are my insurance cards? Your carriers issue them directly and send them to you. UZIO does not distribute or store insurance cards.

How do I add a family member to my insurance? Report a life status change: My Benefits > Report a Change, pick the qualifying event, and add the dependent according to that event's rules. Benefits enrolment is web only. See Reporting a Life Status Change.

Where is my claims information? Not in UZIO. Contact your carrier, or your HR team if you are not sure who the carrier is.

Getting help

UZIO is the software your employer uses. Your employer owns your record, your pay, your benefits and your settings. For anything about them, contact your manager or your company's HR or payroll team.
