Parallel Payroll Runs

Previously, when a regular payroll was in draft status, clients were restricted from running a special payroll or vice versa. With this product update, this restriction has been lifted, allowing you to process both regular and special payrolls at the same time, even when the other payroll is in draft status. This means you can handle urgent payments, like those for terminated employees, without having to wait for the regular payroll cycle to complete. No special setup is required—this feature is automatically enabled.

Timesheet Access Without Clock In/Out Permissions

This feature allows you to restrict employees from clocking in/out via the mobile app and web, ensuring that time punches happen only through designated kiosks. At the same time, employees can still view and manage their timesheets and schedules online, ensuring transparency and access to important information.

How to Setup?

From the left menu, click Time Tracking Settings. On the Time Clocks page, under both Web and Mobile sections, you’ll now see a “Restrict Clock In and Clock Out” checkbox.

  • By default, this is unchecked (meaning no restrictions).
  • When checked, employees can view their timesheets and schedules but cannot perform clock in/out, break in/out, or shift/job changes.

Time Display Format Customization

This enhancement gives admins the ability to set a preferred time display format (12-hour AM/PM or 24-hour military) at the company level. This setting applies to all time tracking, scheduling screens, and reports.

How to Setup?

  • From the left menu, click Time Tracking Settings.
  • On the Time Clocks page, while configuring time tracking:
  • You’ll find a new “Time Display Format” setting with the two options

By default, the system uses the 12-hour format for new clients (existing clients will remain on 24-hour format unless changed).

Time pickers across platforms (web, mobile, kiosk) will adjust automatically:

  • 12-hour format shows AM/PM dropdown.
  • 24-hour format shows hours in military style.
