UZIO Payroll Integrations — February 2026

This article covers two new Earned Wage Access (EWA) integrations added in the February 2026 release: Zayzoon and PayActiv.

Zayzoon — Earned Wage Access (EWA) Integration

UZIO has partnered with Zayzoon to offer a built-in Earned Wage Access (EWA) integration, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages before payday.

How It Works

• Once a client is onboarded with Zayzoon and the integration is enabled in UZIO, UZIO automatically sends daily data exchanges to Zayzoon, including payroll and time & attendance data.
• Employees can then request wage advances directly through the Zayzoon app — the process for which is explained and managed entirely by Zayzoon.
• Zayzoon sends a deductions file to UZIO reflecting the advances issued to employees. UZIO automatically updates the employee's deductions for the current payroll run based on this file.
• Advance repayments are then collected directly by Zayzoon from the client's bank account.

For Existing Zayzoon Clients Transitioning to UZIO Payroll

If you are already using Zayzoon with a different payroll provider and are transitioning to UZIO, the integration will need to be re-established. Please contact UZIO Support to enable the integration once your UZIO account is live.

For New Zayzoon Clients

If you are not yet a Zayzoon client, you will need to sign up with Zayzoon directly. Once your account is set up, contact UZIO Support to enable the integration.

PayActiv — Earned Wage Access (EWA) Integration

UZIO now supports a file-based integration with PayActiv, a leading Earned Wage Access (EWA) provider, giving employees flexible access to their earned wages before payday.

How It Works

• UZIO shares Employee Demographic and Time & Attendance files with PayActiv on an agreed schedule and format, via SFTP or API.
• Employees access their earned wages directly through the PayActiv app using their PayActiv credentials — the process for requesting advances is explained and managed entirely by PayActiv.
• After each pay period, PayActiv generates a deductions report and shares it with the client. The payroll admin can then upload this file into UZIO to apply the advance repayment deductions for the relevant pay period.
• Advance repayments are collected by PayActiv directly from the client's bank account via ACH debit — this process does not flow through UZIO payroll.

For Existing PayActiv Clients Transitioning to UZIO Payroll

If you are already using PayActiv with a different payroll provider and are transitioning to UZIO, PayActiv will switch the data feed to pull from UZIO once the integration is enabled.

We recommend reaching out to PayActiv directly to coordinate the transition, and contacting UZIO Support to enable the integration on the UZIO side.

For New PayActiv Clients

If you are not yet a PayActiv client, you will need to sign up with PayActiv directly. Once your account is set up, contact UZIO Support to enable the integration.
