Using UZIO in Spanish

Modified on Mon, 14 Sep at 1:57 PM

Purpose

Switch the employee web portal between English and Spanish.

Switch the language

Log in to the employee portal and click Español in the top bar. The portal switches immediately. The same control switches it back to English.

What the setting covers

Spanish applies to the employee web portal screens available to you. UZIO's documentation states one exception: the Payroll module stays in English.

The setting changes the portal's own screens. It does not translate:

  • Content your employer wrote, such as policy names, document titles, task descriptions and expense categories.
  • Documents generated for you, including pay stubs and tax forms.
  • Email that UZIO sends you.

On the mobile app

The language you choose in the web portal does not carry over to the UZIO mobile app. The app does not receive your portal language preference. Whether the app offers its own language setting, or follows your phone's language, is being confirmed. Until then, treat the app as separate from this setting.

The time kiosk is also separate and has its own configuration.

Need help?

If a screen you need is still in English, or a translation looks wrong, tell your company's HR team so they can raise it. They are the route for anything about how your company's UZIO account is set up.
